Aging for 6 years in our downtown Denver rack house, barrel 17e15.4a.8 lost most of its Angel Share as water due to Denver's dry climate. This pushed this Single Barrel over 140 proof to be classified as "Hazmat Proof," meaning these bottles cannot be taken on a plane. The result was a smooth-drinking bourbon that packs heat, amazing to enjoy over a rock.
